Moving to Greater Noida marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives—and soon after, we discovered we were expecting. What should have been pure joy was also layered with anxiety. At 39, and after a few difficult experiences in the past, this pregnancy came with its own share of fears and uncertainties. Like many parents-to-be, we spent hours searching for the “right” doctor—someone experienced, but also someone who could truly understand us.

The most defining moment came on the day of delivery. Overwhelmed with fear, my husband and I almost gave up and chose a C-section out of panic. But she held our hands—literally and emotionally—and encouraged us to stay strong. She reminded us that both my body and the baby were responding well, and that we could do this.

And then she said something that will stay with me forever:

“Medicines and supplements, any doctor can give you. But if I cannot give you comfort and peace of mind after a consultation, then there is no point.”

Those words changed everything.

Because of her belief in me, her positivity, and her unwavering support, I was able to deliver naturally and bring home a healthy baby. But more than that, I carried back a sense of strength and confidence I didn’t know I had.

We start treatment from fourth month of pregnancy journey on recommendation of one of my close friend.My fear was that at age of 38 I conceive with twins with other issues like high BP, hypothyroidism. We were looking for a doctor who can handle precious pregnancy with all alerts. Choosing Dr. Suman Mehela was proved very good decision. During whole journey on every month visit I started getting confidence, it is good to have Dr. Suman as my gynecologist. Also in third trimester, I had gestational diabetes, liver cholestasis, also vaginal infection. All the things were managed by Dr. Suman very easily. Over and above all of this my delivery was normal vaginal delivery. At last I decided to go for C section but Dr. Suman motivated and appreciate my previous decision of normal delivery and by her efforts and by God's grace we did it normally. I very much appreciate everything you have done for my wife. You speak with such a gentle voice always you act with skill and wisdom. Its not a short journey with you. I got you everytime whenever we have required. sometimes by call sometimes by whatsapp. but never you did not diny us . at the final moments just we believe you and whatever we think that Mehla mam will guide us on the right way and just happened like this. I highly recommend this dr without any doubts . 2nd day after delivery my wife saying me when mehla mam come to check up , I felt half of pain went away. End moment we did not feel that she is our dr , we felt she is our gaurdian and she did all the things like our gurdian too. God bless you mam. and thank you so much for your best efforts on us.

Dr. Suman Mehla was godsend for us. We even shudder to think what could’ve happened if it wasn’t for her timely intervention and quick decision making in delivering the baby. We will forever be grateful to her. She made our entire pregnancy journey so easy and beautiful with her step by step guidance. And as our baby grows up, we will make sure she knows the doctor who played God for her at a crucial moment. In the seventh month of my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with IHCP which could have proven life threatening for the baby, had it not been for Doctor Suman’s years of experience and prompt action. Thank you Dr. Suman from both of us.
